THE HISTORY OF ALOE VERA.
Aloe Vera has been used for medicinal purposes as far back as 4,000 BC. The Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Indians and Chinese all used the plant for its healing properties. Even Christopher Columbus mentions the medicinal uses of Aloe Vera in his ships log. It was not until the 1960's that a process was invented to transfer the properties of the plant into the bottle without destroying its qualities. WHAT IS ALOE VERA
The Aloe Vera plant resembles a cactus, but in fact belongs to the onion and asparagus family. There are over 200 varieties of aloe.It is the Aloe Barbadensis Miller which is reknowned for its healing properties. The best quality plants are organically grown in virgin alluvial soils which are high in nutrients and devoid of pesticides.
